I am weaving on the diagonal of my overshot threading. Some times this is called 'weaving as drawn in' or 'tromp as writ'. I am not weaving as drawn in per thread by thread, but rather as per
block. My harness combinations or blocks in my threading determine which block to weave next, and how many shots I will need to square that block.

See the yellow pin that helps me keeps me on the diagonal.

The design develops as if by magic! |
Because I have chosen to have my tabby thread the same size as the pattern thread, the warp ends are adding to the overall design.
