Help from a Weaving Friend

I had to enlist my weaving friend to help me. She will get me moving in the right direction.

I think I am nearing the middle of getting the threads through the heddles. This is just a six yard warp, so you would think I would have it beamed by now! Once I get this on the loom, the weaving should go pretty fast. Overshot is one of my favorite weave structures.

Rug - Helper is Pleased

The shuttles have been flying and I am now at inch 48. Yippy!! And, I still have lots of yarn and warp left. Only 24 more inches until the 72 inch mark. I will need to remember to balance my motifs, by finishing with the first wheel (cup).

Friend has boo-boo

If you have been wondering where my friend Rossanna is, she has had a boo-boo. She may not be able to weave, but she will now have time to catch up on her finishing work and maybe explore other ways to weave besides her floor looms. Here she is helping me wind on my warp while looking for ways to add beads to this bookmark.
