Here is an example of the kinds of draft he might have written down. Carol Strickler tells us that he wrote some of his draft to be read from right to left and other left to right. The "Shurkeroon's Fancy" that I showed you a couple of days ago, is written in his condensed #2 form.
This is in "condensed #2" form as Weaver Rose might have done it.

I am not understanding your treadling for this design. My interpretation is quite different but the design result looks the same. Could you explain a bit more? Thank you.
I am using a Jack Loom.
The first block is threads 1+4, so I would step on treadle 2, one time. The next block is threads 3+4, so I would step on treadle 1, one time. The next block is 3-2-3-2-3,for this I would step on treadle four, and weave four shots to square the block.
Are you using a sinking shed loom? That would be the opposite of mine. It would look the same, just stepping on the opposite of what I do.
