Handwoven. Of course I did do some things different. For one, I added two plain weave treadles that they forgot to put there. And, of course I did two different treadlings instead of just the one they showed. But I do agree, that they will make a great addition to a birthday card for auntie or that father or mother who has everything.

Wow, these are really cute, and your fringes/borders are so neat! I am still a little confused about treadling and how it affects the weave (just started weaving, on a Rigid Heddle Loom), but your word makes me want to learn more about it. Thank you for sharing! :D

With your rigid heddle loom, you only have two different sheds, unless you do pick-up. A loom with more shafts allowed you have more controller over which threads you lift, and in what combination. For instance I can lift two threads and leave five down. With your loom you lift one thread and leave one down. (Assuming you are only using one shaft or harness, or you call it a heddle). I know you can do a lot with pick-up and you can add heddles- harness (shafts). My treadles are attached to my shafts, so I can get different combination of threads to look a certain way.
