Fustian became, in the 18th century, a well-developed fabric in Northern Europe where it was woven on a linen warp and a cotton weft using many different threading's. I am using cotton as warp and will be using linen as weft.
Ah. Good choice. In the wiki article on fustian the cutting looks pretty dicey and time consuming. And I also looked up how to pronounce "fustian" fus' chun (only use a schwa instead of the short "u" sound. I don't have a schwa on my keyboard!) Ann, you broaden my fiber horizons all the time!

NO. I am just doing yardage for someone who might want it for reenactment clothing.
