Another one of my study groups is the Complex Weavers Study Group: Samples, the Old Fashion Way. I really enjoy this as it gives me a goal to reach - time limit - and it's just exciting to see what the other have been up to. We can weaving anything that interests us, and then we share! A win-win.
It's called "the old fashion way" in that you can use your computer to make the draft, but can cannot use your computer to weave it (dobby, AVL types). I either use a treadle loom or a hand lever loom (table loom).
But along with the planning, the weaving and finishing, there is the paper work...... ah.... This year I am sharing my adventures with 'dimity'.
