Unexpected Overshot!

Here are two more examples of doing the unexpected with overshot.

This first example I have used thin (20/2 cotton) as the pattern weft and thick (8/2 Bamboo) as tabby.

The next example I have used 'sewing thread' as both pattern weft (orange) and tabby (green).

And then you really won't know what either one will really look like until after it's washed.

A really big THANK YOU to my weaving friend Karolyn for giving me this book!
