Handmade Books

I attended a great workshop on my road trip yesterday, where I learned how to make small books. Some of the items I used were a book binder awl, bee's wax, a tapestry needle, cloths pins, metal ruler, embroidery floss, paper cutter, and paper to create six different small books. We learned about different glues and different ways to stitch or glue books together. It was a very fun day with Leandra Spangler as our teacher http://www.bearcreekpaperworks.com/ .

Leandra explaines a technique.

Learning how to do the corners.

Learning how to fold the paper correctly.
Six samples of different techniques were learned.
