This project went very fast. I can't think of any one part that I didn't mind doing. The warp was a white while the weft was more a cream-white color. I used the weft to crochet the edges.
The other runner (purple) is still being hemmed. I just might add a crochet edge to it too?!?
Is it a typo when you said, "I can't think of any one part that I didn't mind doing"? Did you mean to type one that you did mind doing? Or am I misreading?
ReplyDeleteI did not mind winding the warp, dressing the loom, tying up the treadles, weaving, washing...I enjoyed it all.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I don't like to stand at my warping board, but this project was enjoyable all around. I wish I had put on a longer warp.
Oh well, on to other things. Thanks for your question.
Beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteAnn, what a beautiful runner. I adore the filet lace on the ends, simple and perfect. Love it.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. Makes a lovely runner.
